Key Stage 1 trip to the Yorkshire Wildlife Park

On the 9th of March, the Year 1 and 2 children ventured to the Yorkshire Wildlife Park to investigate our topic question; "Where in the world do animals live?" We were blessed with a beautiful day and we all had a fantastic time.

As well as visiting the animals at the park, we had a workshop about animal habitats. We even got up close to some of the creatures and had the opportunity to hold a corn snake, a hissing cockroach and an African land snail.

Our favourite animals were the baboons, meerkats and painted dogs, as we loved watching how they interacted with each other and tried to spot their different personalities and roles. They were very comical and entertaining to watch.
